i think VY is the #2 no matter what. theres too much invested to let him drop to 3rd string

I wonder if Collins blamed him self for the poor showing, or i wonder if he thought it was the oline , play calling or WR's? i'd like to know why he was struggling. he had his head down a few times coming off the field. maybe it just wasnt his night and he wasnt feeling it.

 

If you really think Patrick Ramsey is going to be our #2 your on drugs. We are talking about Patrick Ramsey! The only person he talks to on the sideline is Kerry. At least Vince and Kerry have relationships with the other players. It's too early to see how much Vince has progressed but he is a more than quality BACK UP.

 

Yep, I'm the plick that votes Ramsey. Young played really well last night, but one game means nothing. I want to see more. While Ramsey looked average, he'll probably continue to be average. Young bombed it one week, and then looked great the following week. You never know what the hell he's going to do next week. Until I see consistency, I'm sticking with the Ramsey vote.

 

Lets not get carried away.

 

How exactly did he bomb it week 1? He threw for 1td and 1 int. 50 %, hardly bombing. And what has Ramsey showed you against 3rd and fourth stringers? No tds?

 

Ok first of all if young would have made a great pitch and lendale would have got a first down out of it, you would not have said anything about it being a mental error!!! Remember vinces rookie year when he was getting sacked against the ravens and then pitched it backwards to scaife who took it to the house for a TD???? i dont remember anyone saying that was a mental lapse!!!
