Anyway glad to hear Vick signed, I think its ridiculous that he still is being suspended for part of the season he did his time, let it be. Give him his 2nd chance.

 

Ya know I was thinking about it.. With a contract that small and with Philly having a back up QB they already like.. would it be possible that they are holding onto Vick for some trades?? Vicks contract is very small and any team would be willing to pay it and if a team has QB problems later in the season I could see trade possibilities open for VICK. Especially if he has a good showing in those last 2 preseason games and is able to play after week 8.

 

Mick Vick is a QB, why do so many people believe the Eagles will use him as a RB? I can understand the speed he has, but other than that he is far from a RB. I must also say this is a good fit for him. Why? Because he can disappear into the team. Like some have said; Mike needs to go where they don't need a QB. After thinking that through I agree. Give the man time to get his game back, don't throw him into another mess. He's just now cleaning up on his other mess he was in. Philadelphia is also relatively close to where Mike is from, and I'm sure those people support him. Andy Reid can handle this situation. There is no need to try and trade him as McNabb could very well be hurt a few times this season and next year also. Vick would be the best fit to fill in for McNabb. I see no controversy because the two are buddies, and Vick knows his place.

 

His realistic pick was in the NFC championship game and the sentimental pick blew an easy home game. Just saying it's not that bad a pick.

I think it was a great move. Mcnabb or westbrook get hurt every year and their year is over. Now they have vick and McCoy. Also philly has had red zone issues and I think fix can really help there. Wished we would have signed him.

 

Why exactly is this a great move? Vick wasn't good BEFORE he went to jail, now he hasn't played in two years, what makes anyone think he is going to be anything better?

Yeah but he didn't have Tony Dungy to mentor him before now.I believe that Tony Do Gooder is going to make Vick all sugary and nice and the saviour of football.
