I agree completely.. Chris Johnson has really been dissapointing me lately with some of his antics. With the staying up all night talking on twitter and Chad Johnsoness is just getting annoying..

But to give him the bennifit of the doubt it is the preseason and he only really had 5-6 runs with an O line with out Mawae.

I believe that Chris J is going to have the same if not better season then he did last year, But I do see White out preforming him this year as well..

And you have to remember that only 5% if not alittle more of the play book is actually shown.. So you have to know not everything is going to be given on the 1st preseason game.. give it some time he will show more here soon especially under the lights of LP field this saturday.

Either way as long as it is producing W's then I do not care....

 

Even on the sidelines Bo Scaife is having fun laughing and what is VY doing???? Just sitn ther with his head down shaking his head. We just need to trade or get rid of him. Bring in a QB via the 2010 Draft... ther is alot of good ones.

 

Johnson is gonna get attacked more this year to prevent him from getting open space... he was blitzed 3 out of his 6 runs....

 

If only we could somehow end up with that real QB from Texas...

 

I don't think it is CJ's fault. I blame it on this. 11 of the 22 receptions went to RB's and TE's. Another 2 were WR Screens. If you run a clostaphobic offense, you are gonna get the side effects that go with it. CJ needs some more space to run in my opinion.

 

It seems funny that Johnson plays bad, but there are so many reasons why he did and why it doesn't matter.

You can not be serious. On the money? He lobbed a prayer out due to the pocket closing and it FLOATED to a DB.
Even if Hawkins ran the out- it was still a throw that wouldn't have been completed with that much air under it and 2 DBs in the area.

He also didn't even notice the EXACT same blitz man coming from the exact same angle 2 plays in a row. He's just not there mentally.

 

Chris will be targeted, there's no way around that. Let's see how he responds this season.

 

Yes, but this is Jeff Fisher's team. Nothing goes beyond 20 yards unless it's a screen pass thrown by Vince Young.

 

and I think that comes with more plays.. Which do not come until the regular season.. The plays ran in this game are purely positional plays to test the individual players at their positions for break down of tapes and practice purposes..
