I knew he had a son that played football.. But had no idea he was getting offers from big name schools.. His father would be very proud of him I would say.. I would love to see him go to Miss State.. I think he could do great things there..

I would love to see him go to Miss State as well. He most likely could play from the start.

Glad to see Steve McNair Jr. has his life together. Really am happy for him. My Dad died too, just about when I was the same age as Steve Jr. he also put me on to football much like with Steve and his Dad. It's hard to deal with at first, but it does make you a stronger man.

I have a friend who plays football at MSU.

Maybe MCNair could help 'em out... they need all the help they can get.

I've seen some of McNair Jr's HS film and he's a good player. He's not blazing fast, but he has good vision and knows how to make people miss.
IMO, He needs to go to a non-Power Six school (Southern Miss, MTSU) that runs a spread where his ability to make people miss in space will be utilized and his lack of burning speed won't be a problem.
On film, he looks like he runs between 4.5-4.6--that won't fly in the SEC without a couple of years over constantly working on speed in the offseason.
