for no reason at all I've suddenly had a change of heart about our buddy VY

I honestly can say i enjoyed our 8-8 season, more than last year. Why? Because every game was fun to watch. The Giants game, the Texans, Robby B's 60 yd game winner. It was a nice ride. Now last year was a great year. But to me i get bored with kerry in the game. I'm saying i like watching our 8-8 season more than i did last years season. But i'd always take a 13-3 yr over an 8-8 yr. Don't get me wrong, i want kerry in until Vince shows he's ready to take the lead again. But with kerry in you can almost predict the offense. If were down late in the 4th and have no timeouts, then you know whats going on, kerry is throwing bombs.Last seasons playoff loss to the ravens was over once they kicked that FG. With kerry in, you know what to do. Drop everyone back and dont let the wr get behind you. now does anyone remember the ravens game when Steve first came back. Remember how it was just about over and somehow Vince breaks off a run into FG range and sets us up with a chance to tie? Yea it was blocked but what i mean is it's never over. But don't take this as a VY lovers rant, im just saying if vince can minimize turnovers then i'd take him over kerry any day. And i don't own a VY Jersey or a Kerry Jersey. I have 1 Steve McNair jersey thats hanging above my bed.

 

If you "got bored" by last season, then you're proving my point.

 

Also, the last 30 seconds of the Ravens game doesn't show nearly as much as the entire fourth quarter does. We had plenty of momentum and were moving the ball on both of the first two drives. I don't fault someone for not making a miracle comeback, I don't think there's any debate to be had about whether or not he lost us that game. There are at least 4-5 good candidates ahead of him.

 

Supposedly Young has been okay these 4 days into training camp. Hopefully he continues to get better. I can't wait until Sunday to see if he's improved with my own eyes.

I'll bet that he has. The game should be interesting.

Are you even listening. Of course we were confident. We still had the lead. But once that FG was made, who did you see with a confident look on their face? Nobody, because they knew that we would have to have a miracle drive to win the game. And everyone knew it wouldn't come from Kerry. Your saying we looked confident throughout most of the 4th. But how did we look when we got the ball back after their FG. All im saying is if Vince was qb, then i would have watched that last drive with a glimmer of hope, because i know that anything can happen with him.

All I'm saying is I've seen Vince win us a comeback game in the waning seconds. I'm not sure Kerry can do that.


As long as consistent boring Kerry can keep us in a position where we don't have to comeback and win a game, then all is shiny!

 

Just under 4 minutes remaining in the game? That's not exactly the type of comeback I'm talking about.

We all know Vince can have those electrifying moments at the end of games.
