I don't think its right for C.J. who never played with Steve to do that, whats there connection? Both played for the Titans as different kinds of players, IDK to me it isn't suiting. If we see Vince back in there, he should absolutely do that when he scores. Him and Steve were real close. To honor McNair C.J. could certainly do the two chest bumps and point to the sky.

 

He needs to come up with something good for New England. I think a Tom-Brady-nads-kick/Giselle-make-out-sesh combo move would be in order, and would definitely be worth sitting out a few games.

 

Doesn't matter whether or not they played together. The real problem is that neither CJ nor Vince are Omega men (that I know of). That symbol Steve did was for Omega Psi Phi. Other players, who are members of Omega, have and still do that symbol when they score. I remember the 90's Florida Gators had several Omega men on their teams because they'd flash the "Omega" every time they scored.

 

Just because CJ never played with Mac doesn't mean he can't honor the guy and show respect. Asking him to bump his chest twice and point to the sky is no different then doing Mcnair's celebration after he throws a TD. There both signature gestures/celebration that he's known for. I can assure you that someone on the offense is going to do it after they score and might even do it everytime they score. None of them have ever played with Mac but I got no problem with them showin some love for the warrior.

Yep. Unless you're a Que-Dog, probably shouldn't do it. But there could be some other sort of tribute to McNair.
