I agree, there are some really strange things that just don't add up. I guess we'll all never really know what happened. All we know is that we lost Steve way too early, and over what?

i dont know if i can really understand what drove her to do this. have you ever seen the movie a time to kill? its based on the best selling book...i can understand why the dad killed those two guys...i cant understand why some chick decided to kill two people because she was having some money issues and because the guy she was with (just dating) was thinking about leaving her. welcome to life...no reason to kill anyone.

(just speculating but), I would think that since the head is a smaller target, she wanted to ensure she hit him. Then maybe felt she could take a few steps back to hit him in the chest.
Why did the cops say that the first and last were in the head? What makes them think that it wasn't 1-2 in the head then 3-4 in the chest?

Not if she was holding the pistol with her thumb on the trigger and her fingertips on the back of the handle (kinda like holding a microphone with just your fingertips) That would initially explain powder burns being on just her fingertips, but wouldn't explain how she held the gun when she shot mcnair that would have prevented burns on her whole palm too. Nor would it explain why the pistol fell under her and not jumped out of her hands with such a light grip. What caliber was the pistol? 9mm? .40?

It is. I still think she did it though, albeit some things just don't add up.

    1) He said traces were found "because of the condition of the body". He said he would leave it at that in defference to the families. She tried to make it to where she would fall into his lap. She did and then slid into the floor (according to the Police Chief).
Her hands were most likely covered in blood since she fell to the floor. So.... no residue.

2)You are way off on this, or you did misread. The Chief said he was in the upright position. (Like he fell asleep sitting up.) So yes...it is plausible that she started on one side, moved to the center as she walked around him, and finished on the other side. That also explains the holes in the wall.

3)I am not aware of what time he left the club, but he is a 3 minute or less drive away from anything in the downtown area.
They also said that it happened somewhere between 1:00 and 1:45am.

IMO.... The case and the results make sense to me....like you said....as much as a murder / suicide can.

I think they said it was a 9mm on the news last night. She paid someone $100 bucks for it and met this person in the parking lot of Dave & Busters to buy it. Where is the seller of the gun? Why hasn't his/her name been released? Is it illegal to sell a gun to someone underage? I don't know enough about the gun laws to question.

I can. You have to understand what emotions can do to people when they act on impulses and let their emotions run the show. Don't get me wrong, emotions are what makes us human. But like the ocean and fast cars/motorcycles, if you don't respect them, and play/toy around with them, they will come back around and bite you in the :grrr::grrr::grrr: something fierce.
Take a look at Sahel's life. Her 'rents were murdered first off; some people just don't have the coping skills to recover for something like that. Then she dropped out of HS, moved up here with her b/f, got herself into financial trouble, expected that a former NFL QB (who is loaded and can support her) was going to divorce his wife for her, and then just snapped when she found out he wasn't (or at least that's the consensus of the supposed divorce rumors).
She seemed to have felt that she had/was going to lose everything and lost her will to live.
I've heard of plenty of people killing themselves, only to hear their friends and family say that the person exhibited NO signs of suicidal tendencies.
But then again, the people who say they are going to kill themselves are usually just looking for attention. The truly suicidal people, are very, very stoic about their thoughts...you usually only find out they are suicidal when it's too late.

You said it.... "rare"...not "it never or has never happened".
Maybe this was one of those rare cases.

Check back two or three pages before this. I posted a link to the actual law on this, and another member posted another link with a law (both TN law) that contradicted it. So I'm not sure where TN's law stands on it now. My link says that it's a Class A misdemeanor. The other says, that it's allowed.

I believe there was a coffee table in front of the couch. She most likely walked around the table as she made the 2 shots to the chest....then back to him.

It seems to me that it makes perfect sense and that people just want to continue to speculate..... no matter what.
