Umm... Based on the info above alone you'd think the cops would be all over this guy, yet the statement has been made that he is NOT a suspect. HOW in the world is he not a suspect ????? There are all the Myspace statements, the fact that he was in contact with the girl on Thursday night and then went by the condo that morning, the obsessive nature of his relationship to the woman, his obvious affectation for violence, and his own step-mother's staements that he was obsessed with her... The the circumstances of the crime itself. The gun so conveniently just purchased, the position of it underneath the victim, the number of shots taken at and hitting Mac9 in the vital spots...

Sorry, the more I read the less confidence I have in the police at this point... Something just isn't adding up here, unless the police have definitive info they are NOT releasing at this point. Yet, if they do, why are they releasing some of the stuff they are to this point. The fact that they have all but come out publicly and stated that it "looks like a murder suicide" is just bizarre to me...

Either this dillweed made sure he had an airtight alibi on the night/morning of these murders, or the Nashville police are completely incompetent to make a statement that he is not a suspect when they don't have all the forensic info back yet on the woman...

There are so many bizarre little nuances/circumstances to this case that seem to be somewhat suspect and inexplicable that it almost feels like they (the police) are purposefully using misdirection in their public statements to the media about what they know and believe to have happened. Just has a very weird vibe to it if you ask me...

    I feel the same way.
Remember the surveillance tape from the law firm?
Why did the police have to request the tape from a local news station? Why didn't they already have it? That should have been one of the first things they were looking for.

Well...if it's the Cheif and not Don Aarom, my guess is that he will make an announcement with the final findings and rule the case closed.
    (murder/suicide..IMO)
Not that it will stop some of the ridiculous speculation.

Sadly because it's Davidson County police. We probably equaled their investigative skills in this thread.

I was told by someone (dont know how reliable this is) that the handgun had his prints on it, and when questioned he stated because I sold it to her, it was my gun.
