i'd prefer we had a ring of honor for players that were good for the organization; guys like eddie, wycheck, bulluck(eventually). we should retire numbers of truly great players like mcnair, bruce matthews and warren moon.

I like the idea of renaming the ten yd lines at LP field the 9 yd lines. Everybody knows it's the tenth yd line really, so I can't imagine a problem with that. It would be an awesome tribute.

I doubt many others would like this idea, but I personally would find it cool if Vince wore number 9 for this season as tribute, then they retired the number. It's public knowledge that McNair was a father figure to Vince, so I just think that would be a cool gesture.

I'm all for a #9 patch or #9 on the helmets. Surely that will happen this season.

I'm pretty sure #9 will be retired.

Also, I really like the bronze statue idea at the stadium...I'm thinking on the East side of the stadium right in the middle of the sidewalk.

Steve McNair was a first generation Titan. Maybe we could call him the 'first' Titan (because of the image he portrayed) standing 6'2" 230 pounds the man was a beast at QB, he put fear into the hearts of D-lineman all around. He will be remembered much like the Packers Brett Favre will be. He was truly a Titan. The man needs to be immortalized with the retiring of his number. You wont think Tennessee Titans without thinking Steve McNair from this day forward.
