Barring him from practice facilities and not talking to him was a low blow. I sided with the team on that whole situation (letting him go), Mac was done, but it still was a low blow. We'll never really know if it was really water under the bridge or not. That was not a way to treat someone who is your "icon." The Colts will never do that to Manning. Pats will never do that to Brady, and even the Pack tried to talk Brett into retirement instead of going elsewhere.

More than just a business decision. I guarantee you.

that is so easily photoshopped. This is a copycat of the Benoit Wikipedia thing. I'll believe that until there is some legit reporting on it.

Stover was a kicker, not quite the same. And you say "we" as if you had anything to do with what they did. It was the higher ups in the organization. They didn't show respect to him as a man, or a player.

Do a little fact checking; Stover's contract was up and they did not opt to try and re-sign him. Nothing compared to locking him out of the facilities. Pick another example if you can find one.

    RIP McNair

You will be missed #9, Steve McNair!! This is a huge loss (obviously) to Titansland (organization and fans) and the city of Nashville. I wish when he left for B-town it was on better terms, but he obviously still loved this town and the citizens. His attitude, talent, work ethic, and demeanor was one-of-a-kind. Also his charity work was highly respected.

It is unfortunately and tragic the circumstances surrounding his death. We should not judge because we all have made mistakes in our lives. This should not overshadow his great deeds. I believe the good he did outweighs his bad. Of course this does not excuse the bad, but since he is such a high profile his mistakes are amplified. We should remember the good times and deeds and learn from the bad. We love you Steve, and we wish the best for family, friends, and fans!!!!!

This season should be dedicated to #9!

Nobody's perfect and McNair never pretended to be. I will remain loyal to the memory I have of his near perfect toughness and love of the game. He gave us more thrilling moments than any player other than Earl Campbell.

I pray for his family's peace and that justice will be served.
