Is there any way possible that you can chill on this for a bit? Whether true or not, the facts are not in, and most of us here in Nashville, are trying to express our sorrow and respect for the situation that is close to many of us.

Respectfully requesting that you take your tone, and speculation to another forum, or to another site.

I don't want to speculate on anything regarding how he died.

As far as i'm concerned he was a great player and at least a very good man.

    The greatest titan ever!

Who he was screwing around with means so little when you consider what he meant to so many and to have a life end at age 36.

    This truly sucks!

It doesn't matter if he cheated or not, he's dead and did not deserve it.

My sympathy goes out to Steve McNair's family, especially his four sons.

......and to all the Titans fans who hold McNair in highest esteem.

Dammit....I have a sick feeling in my gut right now. The ironic thing is, I wore my McNair jersey to a bbq today (odd because i live in Colorado)....one of my buddies asked why I still wear it, he's not a Titan any more. I said, He'll always be a Titan...forget about the short stint with the Ratbirds. Then I get home and I find out he's dead....I'm shocked

He's still the face of our franchise for me. I'm not sure what happened and I'm not going to speculate but what I do know is that he's half the reason I became a Titans fan (Eddie being the other half). He wasn't the flashiest QB but he was a football player, and a damn good one. I'm glad I got to see him play as a Titan (vs. Cleveland) and in Nashville (sadly as a Raven).

    RIP
