LenDale weighs in at 234/Friday OTA recap

I might agree, if LenDale were a battering ram. But he's not that kind of runner. 230 with quicker feet is definitely a better weight for him.

 

I'm glad to hear it, but it's a shame it takes a contract year. Maybe a little more quickness opens up a few more plays for Lendale. Teams knew that when he was in the game he was generally too slow for plays except for off guard/off tackle. Maybe there's a few more things to defend now.

Not to say he wasn't effective as a short yardage rusher - he was very effective - I'm hoping this opens up the playbook some when he's in there though.

Next year White will be wanting more money than he knows we will pay, so he will get traded like he wants hoping he can land a #1 role on some team.

The Titans know this and will be trying to get some spark from Javon Ringer this season.

Next year our RB duo will be Ringer and CJ.

Lendale will either be allowed to become a free agent, signed long-term or franchised.

 

Bettis was a POWER back.

Lendale is nothing of the sort.

Bettis used his weight and broke tackles.

Lendale tries to dance and find holes- his weight kills the way he likes to run.
