the title is somewhat misleading. or why he wont be missed as much as many think. it actually is as a result of a combination of reasons.

- the much debated line of course. imo it will step up, maybe not even to cover Big Al loss but enough to get good pressure on the qb and continue 2 free lbs to stop the run, which is i think all what we'll need.

- the DB unit will have a lot to do it with it. they have grown together now and meshed. the safety tandem this year will get star recognition. and both cbs can cover enough to make opposing qbs hold on to the ball a little more to help accommodate his loss. i dont think finny was no fluke...perhaps he might have a drop in production but it shouldnt be as a result of his abillities. as for harper, im holding out on hope harper doesnt hit a wall).

- i expect cicil to be a bit more creative next season with the defense. i no he cant change much under fish, but again enough to help cover the loss of big al.

- with the new found passing game we'll have, i expect our D to stay fresh and off the field more. im lookin this yr for a good 3rd down defense in the titans. (one of the most underrated stats in D)

- i just refuse to believe this team, one of this caliber, cant cover the loss of one player period. :)
