2010 Draft Potentially Stacked

With Griffin and Hope we aren't going to draft a safey barring a career ending injury (god forbid).

 

I almost 100% agree. But when does Hope's contract come up? And he had that major neck injury, and I'm not sure he looks quite as good after it.

I'd rather have Eric Berry than Hope today, but I'm a homer. And you said you don't watch college ball, but Berry is amazing. Like, as a UT fan, I've never believed in a player as much since Al Wilson. Crazy thing is, there are a couple other safeties in next year's draft that are also amazing. And Berry has played corner for UT as well. So I'm holding out my false sense of hope.

 

Taylor Mays is a top 5 pick.

Dont forget RB- CJ Spiller and J.Rodgers from Org. St.

 

As for Arrelious Benn... I am a titans fan. Hes not as amazing as everybody thinks. He's got speed. Dez Bryant has him beat. Been had 1055 yards but 3 TDs. He can catch and run. He really needs to improve his hands and not just little 2 yard passes and run for 10 yards. Dont get me wrong, but he's got alot to work on.

 

I'm right there with you. I was a fan of Eric Berry since the day I saw we signed him and I looked up some highlight film of him. He's versatile, athletic, and just has a knack for making big plays. Hopefully we won't have any pressing needs, so we would be available to pick him if he's there (which I doubt he will be at pick #32 )

I sure am glad we're trading that pick to the Texans as part of a deal to move into the #1 spot and draft Colt McCoy. :grrhee:

 

Hope is one of the best players on our defense. You would take a rookie over that ... really? We have more concerning needs. CB, DE, and LB are all need positions as of right now, unless somebody emerges this year.

 

Yes and I'd sign him for a 15-year contract!

 

Would we franchise hope when he becomes a free agent at age 43? Just wondering.
