When I saw this, I was praying that they wouldn't have the Chargers ranked ahead of us, so I wouldn't have to go off. I swear when Mark Schlereth continued praising them throughout the first several games of the season... still pleading his case that they're the best in the AFC (even with a 2-4 record at that time or whatever)... I thought I was going to lose it.

The only two that I can fully understand being ahead of us are the Patriots and Steelers.

Titans at #7 is fair enough to me, although we all know that the "experts" will put forth more focus onto 15 other teams before they give the Titans credit. It took 10-0 for the "experts" to start giving us props... once we lose our first game, they drop us to #3. We lose our second game and all of the sudden we aren't in the top 5. That makes as much sense as Paula Abdul.

Realistically, the only possible way we will get our overdue credit is by becoming the first 19-0 team or winning 2-3 Super Bowls in a row.

Hey, at least get it right. 16 points in two playoff games.

I actually would have agreed with you after the San Diego game, but we were moving all over the field against the Ravens. We blew three red zone opportunities, that was why we lost. Not because we didn't have any offense.

NO! Titans lost because of bad officiating and the ravens cheating by hurting our star player! :whoop:

We would get credit if we could actually advance into the playoffs. Look at the Eagles who went to the NFC championship with only an average record.

Anything can happen in the NFC. Move us to the NFC and we'd have at least two championships by now... They haven't won a Super Bowl either, so, in the mind's of those who hate us, they don't deserve respect either.

But just put it into even deeper perspective... Here are just a few of the teams who haven't won Super Bowls, yet receive more attention/respect than the Titans:

Eagles... I guess losing three straight NFC championships gets you respect
Vikings... I guess losing four Super Bowls gets you respect
Jags... I guess going 14-2, yet losing to the greatest team of all time twice in the same season gets you respect
Bills... I guess losing four Super Bowls IN A ROW gets you respect
Chargers... I guess using roids gets you respect
Seahawks... I guess having short-lived success in a horrible division gets you respect

Jeff Fisher's postseason record is 5-5, so I'd still say that, as of right now, we deserve more respect/attention than even the Cowgirls. Their coach always advances in the postseason... he advances straight to the offseason. 0-3 postseason record! Good job, Wade! It's fate that he won't win a playoff game... See January 8, 2000. :ha:

I don't get why people keep putting the Patriots at #1. I'm sorry but the whole "Tom Brady is coming back" doesn't do it for me. He's coming off serious knee surgery and all of a sudden that makes them the best team in the NFL? Did they win the Superbowl when they had Tom last year? No. Has a team won the Superbowl twice since the Patriots last won it? Yes. So what am I missing here?

For the record I don't even like the Steelers but I don't get how you can keep dissing them like this.
