Nice thought, except that the 36 year old Collins hasn't missed any time due to injury the entire 3 years he's been a Titan while Vince has been injured/DNP in games each of the last two seasons.

Man, I really hope that you are right. I don't know if there any QB more scrutinized than VY. I agree with you that he probably will surprise a lot of people ou there. Jeff Fischer took advantage of everything that happened after the Jacksonville game to bench VY like he would have wanted in his rookie season, but we all know what happened. Giving him the needed time to mature and learn, and becoming the QB of the franchise for years to come.

VY future isnt with the titans. his future will be with some other team in a back up role because that is all he is. while yes, we didnt get a qb in the late rounds, there is always next year to do so. i believe that is what the titans are doing. that will give the rookie qb one year under KFC to learn the ropes of the play book and start in year two. something VY should have done. but then there was the whole mcnair saga. vy wont be a titan next year.
