Scaife to Sign Tender

One catch. One.

I thought Crumpler did pretty good as a blocker last season. Just expected more in the receiving department. And it's not like a player has never bounced back from a down year.

Titans are certainly committed to having a good TE combo.

I worry it came at the expense of quality CB depth, at least for this season.

 

It might just be rhetoric, but he seems to have a good attitude about the whole situation.

We used a 3rd on Mouton and a 6th on McCourty this year, and a 7th on Cary Williams last year. In the same time, we've used a 3rd on Cook and a 3rd on Stevens. We've picked one more corner than tight end. I don't think it is a lack of effort. You've got to pick from the guys available. I don't want us taking a corner just to be taking a corner. If they thought Stevens and Cook were the best players available, then they made the right choice. We should be able to find a vet back up corner when rosters get trimmed down.

 

True. But you expect more of a third rounder than a late rounder. Hopefully we'll find that vet fa that will make a good backup in case bad things happen.

Maybe Mouton will be a stud.
