I believe the Tennessee Titans have the potential to be downright potent in the 2009-10 season. Checklist time.

    - Big, physical, down-field blocking receiver who runs solid routes (Britt).
    - A quick, sure handed receiver who is capable of being a very solid short to middle range receiver (Gage).
    - A fast, shifty receiver that can stretch the field, or be explosive out of the slot (Washington).

    - A sure-handed, creative tight end that is vital for converting mid-yardage conversions and a viable target in the red-zone (Sciafe).
    - A rock of a run-blocker that is vital for springing our shiftier backs for long gains (Crumpler).
    - A great athlete that creates mismatches with his size and speed (Cook).

    - One of the most explosive backs in the league after just one season, that can hit the long one but also has proven the capacity to carry the rock 15-20 times a game (Johnson).
    - Big, durable back that has proven to be a solid commodity on the goal-line and on 3rd and short (White).
    - A tough, solid runner that can act as an instant change of pace back to spell Johnson (Ringer).

This is without even mentioning one of the more solid offensive lines in the league, and the question marks that Stevens, Hawkins, and others provide. Just looking at the characteristics of the offense from it's position players, it's downright interesting the options that the Titans have, at least on paper, to work with this season. The idea of having Britt, Cook, Washington, and CJ on the field at one time for certain packages is downright scary to me.

I agree but I think the one thing preventing us from having a potent offense is KFC

He is serviceable, but not a potent offense kind of QB

^ I disagree.. With this line and running game the potential to blow it thru the air up exists. If the WRs are game so is KFC...

All starts up front with the mooses. We were very fortunate to have our O-line healthy for most of the season. Thats very uncommon, i mean look at Jax,their O-line fell apart even before the season started. We going to need that same luck again in order to see the full potentional of this offense..

we don't have a superbowl QB, and Kenny Britt isn't a sure thing..

    just looking at it realistically..

I'm excited for '10 more than '09 with these guys.

The thing to remember is that WR has a more difficult learning curve than most positions so to think Britt will come in as a rookie and do much more than have a limited role for most of the season is unrealistic, IMO.

I think Dinger will work up a package for him but, like Hawkins, won't see the field unless he knows his stuff. Dinger doesn't like to rotate so he's going to have to really pick things up fast to pass Hawkins for the #3 spot.

Last season, Jones worked in the DT rotation when healthy and I expect we'll see Marks do the same. He'll likely build his reps based on how effective he is as long as Brown and Jones stay healthy. Starks was surprisingly effective his rookie season but he was also said to be much stronger coming out of college.

Last year, Stevens didn't see a lot of work at TE. If Crump and Scaife are healthy, I think we're going to see Cook limited to certain packages unless the Titans decide to release Crumpler which probably depends on where Stevens is in learning his position and blocking schemes. Unless Cook plays special teams, I have a hard time seeing the Titans making four TEs active on game day.

Mouton and McRath should both play big roles on special teams. I don't know if any of the others will see the field unless there are some injury issues.

I can't lie, if everything works out like it's supposed to, our offense is going to be tough this year. And as stated before, it pretty much hinges on KC's long ball (which I wasn't too impressed with last season).

Haha you weren't impressed with it because JMac was on the other end of it. I swear no one could give up on a long ball like JMac did.

I think that it'd be possible that Javon Ringer RB could possibly get some PT especially if LenDale White isn't very productive... I think he could be a great compliment to Chris Johnson... I also kind of want to see what Rafeal Little will be able to do I believe if it wasn't for his serious knee injury his last year in college he could have been a 3rd-4th round pick!
