Gotta stop the sillyness of these last few posts. Young isn't going anywhere. He has no value and nobody is willing to take on his current contract. And he will be the number 2 quarterback. (Patrick Ramsey? Really?)

There's no way we let Scaife go for nothing. He does have value, and if we feel we must get rid of him, we will get something in return. With that said, Tennessee has kept four tight ends on the roster in the past. With a group so talented, I wouldn't be surprised to see us keep 4 again.

I would definitely try to trade Young even if its just for a 2nd round pick. ESPN had a good blog on his cap ramifications.

I dont get why people want to move Bo. I think Bo has been very good. I consider him a 2nd level TE right under the pro bowl guys.

People want to get rid of him because he's pulling an albert and not practicing because he was franchise tagged.

I'm down for trading Bo, but seriously guys Bo Scaife and Jared Cook both SUCK at blocking! Why in this world would you not want our only blocking TE to be in?

In fact I think Kenny Britt can block better than both of them!

Ramsey isn't getting the dollars Vince will be getting after this season. If 10 doesn't show up this year the team will be looking at a way overpaid backup.
Combine that will the number of re-signs etc they will face after this season and you can do the math...

I agree. And that's why Young is the #2 this year. If something happens to Collins, Young is going to get his last shot. They aren't going to play Ramsey over Young in 2009.

    QB: KFC, VY
    RB:CJ, Lendale
    FB: Hall
WR: Gage, Nate, Hawk (going into the season)
    TE: Bo, Alge, Cook

I think that KFC will hold onto the starting spot up until the point that he returns to his old form of throwing picks like it's going out of style.

I would like for Lendale to step it up, but if we trade while we can get something out of him, i'll be ok with that too.

Ganther seems like he's got a good build to be a FB, would like to see him used there.

Kenny Britt will eventually get some playing time, but will go into the season as a sub.

I like Bo, but if we can trade him now and save the money that he'll want in a long-term deal then I say do it. But if we keep him, that's cool too.

Get rid of Alge IMO,hes nothing more then a blocking TE which Cook,Stevens, and BO i'm sure could do the same if not better. If anything he sticks around to show Cook the ropes of being a TE in this league but thats it. I cant see his production getting an increase in the offense espically if Cook has a CJ type training camp and preseason..
