Mike Reinfeldt messed up big time this offseason..

I don't want to go down this road again, but let's not forget that we signed Collins on Friday and the Cutler saga started that Sunday. So yeah, if we would have held out a tad bit longer then who knows what could have happened. At least MR could have used that as leverage. Again we had nothing to give Denver as valuable as the Bears did.

 

I agree with you about Nate Washington. Holt recently said something like, "The Titans didn't pursue me that hard". How many teams in this league could use a decent WR, yet only one team, the team with the worst WR core league-wide was really interested in him. I'm glad we didn't pick up Holt. It might have been nice having all the talking heads picking us to win it all, swell our heads, but we would all know we still got an over-the-hill WR who is damaged goods to boot.

I strongly disagree about Carr. Unless it turns out that one of our draft picks is badass on kick returns, Rob Bironis is going to have another career year. Jones is nowhere near Carr's level in my opinion, and field position is just too important to our offense.

 

My only major complaint about what MR did was that we missed a golden opportunity with tony G. We also should have signed miles austin just signed by the cowboys.

I'm tired of the franchise complaint for scaife since it is only for $4.46M.

 

I talked about him but nobody thought he would be taken that high. I was thinking of him as a 3rd rd pick for us.

 

Percy harvin, very similar athlete..

 

Titans have said they will not touch Harvin if he fell to them. they do not like him off the field. I heard Harvin when to visit the Browns and was not liked there and during a TV interview the set people said Harvin had a bad vibe about him.

 

I don't think your plan is different enough from what actually happened to say he "messed up big time".

 

I'm glad there is at least someone complaining about Mike Reinfelt during the draft. Can't go into a season feeling good about the team!
