Reinfeldt Says Trade for Vet Receiver Possible

I remember nearing the draft last year MR said that they were going to solidify there RB corps and pick up a 3rd down back and everyone was all like who are we going to sign warrik dunn etc and then we ended up getting that "3rd down" running back in the draft. Maybe he actualy means were going to pick up a WR in the first round...

I have to agree though...I don't think Braylon Edwards is worth a 1st round pick. I feel like Boldin would be a reach but if he was available for a reasonable price the FO would be stupid not to jump on him. As far as drafting a WR in the first...I think we should concentrate on rebuilding our D-Line and then draft WR later in the draft since there is depth there this year. I know you're probably thinking to yourself "that strategy worked great for us in years past" but seriously I think there can be talent found in the later rounds with proper scouting and a little luck. We'll see what happens...Go Titans!!

 

Trading picks for Boldin would be a huge mistake. He can't have that many years left in him and just something him makes me think he'll be just another big name WR who came here, made money, then everyone forgot they ever played for us.

I thought Holt would of helped us, but now that that's over I'm hoping we draft a WR. Not in the first round, but in the second round would be nice.

I think you're being a little oversensitive here. I took that to mean he's a great football player, not having anything to do with his race.

 

Perhaps I did, but this poster bashed John Madden the other day and claimed he made each individual Madden video game himself so I have to question what's going on upstairs for him. :ha:

I agree BoldIN is a great player and would be a great fit for this team, but our silly GM won't pull the trigger.
