Hey i know as titans fans we are all doubters when it comes to us signing a #1 wide receiver, but it's reinfeldt's third year and so far he's been way more active in adding talent than floyd EVER was. And floyd drafted paul williams, enough said there. I really believe he's going to give it a good ole college try trying to land us a wr like boldin, ochocinco or edwards.

I guaruntee you will not see Ocho, Bolding, or Edwards on this team next year. And we will not spend our first round pick on a WR. This team does not feel it needs a great WR to go to the Super Bowl. I for one agree with them. Last years team was Super Bowl caliber because of a great defense and a good running game. This years draft will be used to bolster the defense that took a big hit this year in losing big Al. Everyone here knows this teams philosophy and it has never been to bring in big playmakers at WR or even to draft WR early. When you look at the big picture, the one thing you can win a super bowl without is a great WR. It happens quite often. But the one thing that happens a lot less, is winning a super bowl with a good defense and running game. I know a lot of people don't like it and think its boring, but it is what this head coach and GM believe in and you aren't going to see a change any time soon . . . I would stop holding my breath now if I were you.

boldin would be the best bet. edwards would be 2nd because of butterfingers. chad johnson would be 3rd because he's a circus.

i hate all these "its possible" and "it may happen" bullcrap..........we coulda had Holt, who was the best out of the FA bunch, we missed out.....they must not be that serious or we would have snagged him

expect your typical 3rd or 4th round WR at this years draft, thats the only other WR you will see on this team next year

also you can tell a front office is bad when a WR would choose Jags over Titans........thats bad....what they offer him $1.50 and some rogaine?

No try 1st, 2nd and third. We pick too late to get him for just a 1st and a third.

We basically give up an entire draft and 9% cap space for one WR who averages 12 starts a season and is not a guy who stretches the field.

He has not been doing outragous celebrations anymore, because he kind of sucked last year, and the year before that. His production took a dive in "07" and has not recovered. I think Chad Johnson was pretty good, but Chad Ocho Cinco sucks! He is not the same spectacular reciever he was three years ago. He is now kinda like a middle of the road guy IMO.

The bengals have aready said they were not going to trade johnson and why would they after they just lost their other pro bowl WR?

Wrong! He had 1440 yards in 2007. WTF he made the pro bowl.

FYI burress is available it he won't cost us any draft picks. He is also in no position to demand a huge contract.

If we are that desperate for a WR why not offer burress an incentive laden contract?
