Weighty issue Adrian Peterson want to get up to 225 -230?

    I think that for a speed back like him, to put on 15-20 lbs would signifigantly hinder his speed (if he is speaking of strickly adding mass). It may make him more durable, and tougher to take down, but at what cost. I agree if it aint broke, don't fix it.

    LeBron is 6' 8" 250 lbs while AP is 6' 1" 217 lbs. AP is probably stronger pound for pound. Putting on extra weight would be foolish... even if it's muscle, it's not the greatest idea.

    AD will be as heavy and solid as a rock but this guy just has such a pure talent that it wont matter too much. He is still a force to behold and will continue to be with more power.

    More muscle limits your movements the same as more fat would. you can be overweight with muscle. i know a body builder that cannot lock his fingers together behind his back cause his arms and back muscles are to big.

    i'll take little CJ over a buff AP.
