I think the problem with Tulloch is what people expected out of him rather than play on the field. IMO Tulloch has played fine but I also would think he could be replaced.

And why is everyone saying Kearse had a good season. The only thing I would give him credit for is staying healthy. The first sack he got was a direct result of Haynesworth amd KVB making the QB jump right into his arms. I think it was the last four games that he finally showed up on the map with 2.5 more sacks. He didn't do anything thing spectacular at all. Notice that the "Frequent Flyer" idea went no where? That's because he wasn't doing anything to brag about.

Over the span of the year he got 34 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Compare that to our backup DE Ford who only started three games and recorded 26 tackles and 7 sacks. Or Dave Ball who got 28 tackles 4.5 sacks and even forced a fumble and got a pick. And he only started three games as well. Kearse gets props for staying on the field health wise but thats it.

Alll that proves is we have great depth. Kearse DID have a good season because overall he held his side of the ball. If he played bad then other teams would only run to his side knowing he couldn't get then. But i believe he held his side just a KVB so he had a good season overall.

    I disagree.

While the 2008 stats say that he has 200 carries with only 1 fumble (plus one in the playoffs), his role was to pound the ball up the middle for short yardage. The times he tries to get in open space and create a play is when he fumbles.

If all you have to do is receive the hand-off, get the three points of impact on the football, and then pound it up the middle, your not likely to fumble. He proved in the playoff game that he's not capable of being the main back.

My vote is Lendale, hands down.

Honestly my only issue is his arrogance/stupidity. Everytime someone puts microphone or camera in front of him, he says or does something dumb or immature that makes national media (his complaints/whining about not getting the ball enough after losses; pretty sure he started the towel stomping)

He also doesn't seem to understand that he's the short-yardage back in a tandem system and wants to have full starter stats and carries...
