Toomer or Burris?

Don't know if you guys see this but...


Plaxico Burress reportedly unleashed a "string of profanities" at a deputy sheriff in Florida two weeks ago.

Plax was pulled over for "erratic driving" near Fort Lauderdale on March 18 and proceeded to try to bully the officer with a "violent and aggressive attitude." Plax had been hit with four driving violations in Florida just two weeks earlier.

Plaxico is a waste of space on this earth. Him and Pac-man should be on a reality show to find out who is the bigger dumba**. What was this guy thinking taking a gun into a night club. I am surprised that Plax doesn't have more legal issues than he already does. No way the Titans give any thought to signing this guy.

 

I'm not going to put Plax on the same level as pac. He carried a gun stupidly (illegally) and it went off, thankfully only injuring himself... but i still don't want him.

i think its being pretty optimistic to say he won't serve any time.

 

That's worse then anything Pacman has done (ignoring allegations).

 

We won't be signing either. Toomer's was done at the beginning of last year. Without a major WR opposite him, he can't get open. This is why Eli's favorite targets are Burris, Burris, and Steve Smith!

Plax is 99% certainly going to jail for some time. His lawyers been working on a plea deal for 4 months....if he could have gotten out of jail time...he would have already. Secondly, and more importantly. When this all came up, the MAYOR said he would not give Plax a break because he was a celebrity (and just won the town it's first Super Bowl in quite a while...in one of the greatest upsets in SB history...nevermind all that). Said Mayor wants to stay Mayor and keep being Mayor for the next 10 years. To do that, he needs to keep the cops happy. The cops wanna know that if they arrest a guy for illegal possession of a firearm, the collar will stick!

See ya when you get out Plax...the Raiders will hold a roster spot for you!

if you want to go that route then since plax hasn't actually been convicted of anything and its all allegations at this point and pac has been convicted of something then what pac did is still worse than anything plax has done.

that being said, i still don't want either.

 

I don't think Pacman has ever been caught carrying a gun, Plaxico has.

 

are we seriously going to have this conversation? I don't like either but if you want to make the case that what pac did is less than what plax did then you have to go by convictions on both and plax hasn't been convicted of anything. he was caught carrying a gun? allegedly for starters but on top of that its not illegal to carry a gun. there's nothing inherently wrong w/ it. you can argue that its wrong to carry one w/o a permit but he hasn't been convicted of that now has he? facts of the matter are that pac was convicted of something. plax hasn't been convicted of anything so if you want to go that route then what pac "did" is worse that what plax "did."

That being said, they're both douchebags and i don't want either.
