A guy i like is Joe Burnett from UCF. I've seen a lot of his games and he is very underrated. He is great in coverage and is a ball hawk. Rarely did teams throw his way this year but he still managed to get 5 interceptions. He always seems to make a play when the ball comes his way and rarely gets beat. He is also probably the best kick/punt returner in the nation which i think is an added bonus and would help us greatly. I think the only knock on him is that he doesnt have a great 40 but i think he ran one of the top 5 runs at the combine. I think he could be a mid round steal.

Mike Mickens. Former first round prospect, but got injured this past year.

    Yes...

Mickens is one of my sleeper picks who aren't sleepers! He's still coming back from a knee injury but ran at his pro day anyway...supposedly at around 85%. If true, he's a first rndr who will go in rnd 2. If scouts think he's exaggerating how injured he still is (and that his pro day numbers are him at his healthy best), he'll go late 2 - late 3. I think it's too much to HOPE he'll fall to the bottom of round 3...so he's a guy we could take at the end of rnd 2...IF he's still there. I think there are 5-8 CB's who could go in rnds 2-3. Mickens is one of my favs!

    Well...

I like him...but not overly thrilled. He's a bit of a boom/bust guy. He's small and kinda slow (think he ran about 4.57 at the combine at 5'9). He can play and he's a solid special teamer. Would be good CB depth and could help special teams with a chance for more. Anywhere from 5th to undrafted...

I think the Titans have better options in the later portion of the draft, but if he's the best guy when they pick in rnds 5-7...he could get a shot!

A mid to late round guy I like after seeing some video on him is Mark Parsons Ohio Univ.
Not real big or fast but knows how to play CB.

macho harris in the 2nd would be a deal. hes quick as hell. he put up a weak 40 but i think he plays faster than that. return baller, playmaker, big, physical.

    From NFL.com:

"It isn’t often that a prospect from St. Paul’s College generates much attention heading into the draft — not a single player from the small Virginia school has ever been selected — but CB Greg Toler is changing that this year.

He was recently mentioned in Steve Wyche’s column highlighting small-school players to watch and he is capitalizing on his rising profile with some solid workouts. According to Wyche, he has drawn comparisons to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Toler performed in front of scouts on March 19 at Richmond’s pro day and measured in at 5-foot-11, 191 pounds. There was a strong crosswind and the jumps were done after the position workouts due to rain. He ran a 4.50 and 4.45 in the 40, had a 33½-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot, 8-inch broad jump, a 4.18 short shuttle, a 6.95 three-cone drill and did 13 bench press reps.

More evidence on Toler’s rapidly improving stock: five teams (Browns, Jets, Ravens, Redskins and Cardinals) have already worked him out privately and a sixth (the Patriots) is scheduled to do so Wednesday."

Here's a guy who is in the Alphonso Smith mold, reportedly with a little less desire:

"CB Captain Munnerlyn (5-8 5/8, 186) posted a 4.44 and 4.41 in the 40-yard dash, a 4.04 in the short shuttle and a 7.05 in the three-cone drill as well as a 36.5-inch vertical jump."

    Anyone heard of Michigan Tech?

"Michigan Tech DB Robert Haynes (5-9 1/4, 189 pounds), who also participated in Grand Valley State’s pro day, ran the 40 in 4.36 and 4.40 and had a 35 1/2-inch vertical and a 10-foot, 5-inch broad jump. He had a 4.18 short shuttle and 26 reps on the bench."

"CB Vince Butler (5-9 3/4, 186 pounds) looked strong at New Mexico State’s pro day, which was held on March 11, with 12 players working out for representatives from five NFL teams.

Butler, who will work out for the Cowboys on April 13, had times of 4.46 and 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash, a 34 1/2-inch vertical and a 10-foot, 7-inch broad jump. He also had a 4.05-second short shuttle and a 6.76-second three-cone drill, and he did 14 repetitions on the bench press."
