Cutler will have significantly less tools in TN? That's flat out amazing to hear someone truly believe that. You're saying:

    7 random RB's starting > CJ
    Denver O-line > Titans O-line
    Denver defense > Titans defense

And, if you think Marshall or Royal would be the same receiver in TN, you're lost your mind. Cutler makes those guys successful, and Cutler still had the 2nd best passing game EVEN with Marshall being suspended for 4 games.

If Denver had VY on their team this year, they would not have won 4 games. If we added Cutler & Holt to CJ, NW, and our o-line I guarantee we have a top 5 offense. Combine that with the D, and you have a Super Bowl team.

The Titans QB's in the last 2 years of post-season play have offered EXACTLY the same number of touchdown passes (and wins) as Cutler has. The only problem is our QB's played 120 minutes worth of football with a 0-2 record. I guess that makes Cutler slightly more efficient.

To truly believe that Cutler isn't an upgrade both in the near and long term for the Titans (among other teams) is insane. If the Broncos want too much for him, no way I'd sell the farm to get the guy. But, if the current fallout in Denver yields to a below market value price for him, any team with QB issues that turns down an opportunity to get this guy would be insane.

Wow you sound like a Texan fan. You still have to get your team to the playoffs, something Cutler couldn't do with a 3 game lead with 3 games to go.

    What are you talking about?

Marshall and Royal are much much better than Gage and JMac/Jones/Washington.

They won't be in Tennessee, therefore Cutler will have less to work with.

    That is significantly less tools.

I'm saying Cutler gets a lot of help with Marshall and Royal. The complaint most people make here is we have no receivers and that somehow it will improve Young/Collins.

Same theory applies that Marshall and now Royal made Cutler better, how would he go with average receivers?

You are right a good run game and good defense helps so why do we need Cutler then? We give up the farm for a guy to come to a conservative offence who will then just whinge and pout and want a trade.

If we had Cutler last year we probably go 13 - 3. If we had Cutler in the playoffs we still lose (mainly because he can't stop the turnovers from White and Crumpler).

How does Cutler improve the team if we have the same offensive philosophy? Strong defense and run game and have a QB that makes no mistakes? That certainly isn't worth giving up a 1, 2, and 3 in the draft when we already have that.

You're saying that receivers make a QB, and not the other way around. I'm not disagreeing that having better receivers help a QB, but Cutler's #1 is equally as young as him, and his #2 was a rookie this year. Do you think that Marshall or Royal would be equally successful had the Titans drafted them along with Vince, since VY and Cutler are same age?

Moss didn't make whoever his QB in Oakland any better. But, when he has a top tier QB throwing to him, he becomes record breaking. What's ironic about that is Brady won the Super Bowls with receivers who as soon as they leave a top tier QB, can't produce anymore. And, Brady kept winning Super Bowls no matter who he was throwing to.

Why couldn't Leinart be successful with Fitz & Boldin, but Warner could? In order to be a successful team year in and year out, you need a top tier franchise QB on your roster. Cutler can offer that potential to a team. I just don't see how anyone can say with a straight face that KC or VY have that potential. And until we begin fitting the mold of what has been proven to be successful to win in the NFL, we won't be.

You're right that Cutler could have won a game or 2 down the stretch to secure the playoffs. But, what is absolutely amazing about that is with ZERO talent around him except Marshall, Cutler led the Broncos to a 8-5 record. And, no one else around him could produce proving he carried the load all year for that team and STILL almost made the playoffs.

I think Gut pointed it out, but in their losses, the defense gave up 52, 30, 30, 41, 26, 31, 33, and 24. So, in order for him to make the playoffs you're expecting him to REGULARLY put up 30+ pts, with a slew of 7 RB's starting throughout the season. And, he STILL carried the team to a win when the defense gave up 38, 32, and 30 points. That is absolutely INCREDIBLE. And to say that the Titans defense, CJ, and our O-line won't be a valuable tool for a guy that routinely puts points on the board is just plain ignoring the facts.

I posted this earlier but Denvers running game was ranked 12th with one of the highest per yards carry in the league. Cutler didn't carry the offense, and being ranked 12th they obviously didn't have to abandon the running game early to play catch up.

That has more to do with Oakland's dreadful offensive line and the fact that Moss quit on the team.

Leinart hasn't played enough IMO to be considered unsuccessful, he just lost his job to a hall of fame QB. But even so, were not saying Cutler is a garbage QB, he's just a bit overrated and a loser. And all the defense that has come to Cutler from this forum just confirms how overrated he is.

And consider that in our offense QB is not a weakpoint. Collins hasn't lost us a game this year.

Overrated, probably (haven't read all the posts here, but some are probably real Cutler friendly). Last year, Cutler was still staring down receivers and making bad decisions at times, but he is a young quarterback and a lot was asked of him in that offense (so naturally mistakes are gonna happen for a young QB).
Also Cutler has been steadily improving each season since he joined the league.

But saying that he is a loser based on his W/L column alone is an easy out to take shots at him. Football is a team sport.
It's like saying that Big Ben was "mr. clutch" in his first Superbowl win where he went 9/21 - 123yds - 0 TDs - 2 INTs. Obviously the teams running game and defence carried him through on that day.
As I said earlier, four of the eight Denver wins last season was won due to Cutler game-winning drives in the fourth quarter. So he obviously has some poise and winner mentality.

As for the people who thinks Cutler might end up here. I can't see that happening. I wouldn't mind having him, but not for the price of several first day draft picks. That just doesn't make sense for us.

    I agree
