Ridiculous argument. The Titans didn't win with Young and Collins, Young and Collins won with the Titans. Put Jay Cutler in there and it's an instant upgrade and he would absolutely win with us as well. The fact is, any NFL QB worth his salt could come to Nashville and win games because the rest of our team is outstanding. If we added a top level QB to the mix (which I absolutely think Cutler is...career stats for 3 years- 9,000 yards, 62%, 54 TD, 37 picks) then we'd have the offensive firepower to get deep into the playoffs, not just into the playoffs.

No, the Titans won. That's proven.

What's not proven is a career loser with a sooky attitude, no playoffs and a giant ego coming here and suddenly turn it around. There is no Brandon Marshall here, there is no Eddie Royal. Cutler will have significantly less tools here then he does in Denver and there is no reason at all to believe he can win with less when he can't even win with more.

And good for Cutler on putting up pretty stats how many wins has that translated into? Jon Kitna has put up 9000 yards, 40+ TDs and ~60% passing as well.

By the way, offensive firepower hasn't won a Superbowl since the 1999 Rams. You can have all the offensive firepower you want, if the same mistakes happen like they did in the Baltimore game, we still lose.

So you're saying Cutler had "more" in Denver, compared to what he would have if he came to Tennessee?
I would argue that a good running game and a top notch defense does more for a quarterbacks W/L record then any top flight receivers ever can.

You say your not trying to compare the two but you go and make a statement like the one you did above. In order to support your opinion, your going to have to compare the two on why you think Cutler could never be a top 3 QB or as good as Joe. Personally i could careless whether Cutler is the next Montana or not. But when you go and make a statement that is so premature with really no real argument to back it up besidea saying the guy whines alot and has a losing record when hes only going into his 4th year is absurd and unfair...

Cutler wont be anywhere near Montana because he wont win 4 Superbowls. How's that?

ESPN's John Clayton believes the cost for Jay Cutler would be a first-round, second-round, and third-round pick.
Clayton is basing this on the price to acquire rocket-armed 26-year-old Jeff George back in 1993, the last time a quarterback of Cutler's caliber hit the market in his prime. Broncos coach Josh McDaniels has stated that he's not interested in a draft-pick return, leaving him without a quarterback. He might not have a choice.

If that's the asking price you guys still want him? Cutler isn't even close to being worth that.

It really doesn't matter what the asking price is. What matters is what other teams are willing to give up because right now the Broncos might not have a choice of keeping Cutler. I'm also not sure Cutler isn't worth that to the Titans since we pick late in each of those rounds. Also, it is doubtful any team will give up all those picks this year meaning it might end up being a 1st and 3rd this year and a 2nd next year.

I'd sure offer a 1st and a 3rd rounder right now for Cutler.

So you're telling me you think the Titans would be a worse team with Jay Cutler? Just answer that question, cut and dry, would we be better or worse with Jay Cutler?
