Justin Miller visits the Titans

I think this would be a good pickup... At least as good of a returner as Carr, and better upside as a corner.

 

Well...

There are 3 options...Carr, Miller, or Deltha O'Neal at KR/PR/backupCB.

O'Neal is the best CB of them, but neither Carr nor Miller are starting material. They are 4th CB's on good teams. The problem with Carr is he thinks he's a 3rd who can challenge for a #2 when he's a 4th that maybe could challenege for a 3rd spot...MAYBE!

Miller is a hell of a kick returner and could take a few back which we haven't had in awhile.

 

he went to the pro bowl as the jets' returner a couple years ago. i think i would rather have carr as the returner over miller just because of his consistency and sure hands, but miller would be a good number two option.

 

I'd rather have Carr back, but his delusions of grandeur regarding playing CB may force the team's hand. I know Miller was an epic fail early, but is he a total lost cause at CB? He does have big-play potential, butI value Carr's consistency there. Problem is, I think we paid him too much last year, and now if we pay him anything more, he's going to make more than Fuller, which somehow doesn't seem right.

The only way I think we get him back is if no one else signs him, but he's visiting the Vikings, Browns and Steelers. Someone will probably get him.

 

Who was the best Punt Returner last season? we need that guy.

 

I would like the signing of Miller. He's been a stud since he was at Clemson, how he got stuck on that terrible Raiders team I don't know. He would be better depth at DB and a solid returner, plus future starter.

 

He was with the Jets.
