If Carr signs elsewhere, should CJ be made our primary kick returner?

I agree, CJ shouldn't return kicks.

I think CJ could be an effective punt returner..Kick Returner, no.

The Cornerback we're taking in the draft will return punts.

Griffin was our best kick returner even when Carr was on the roster but IMO both Griffin and CJ are way to valuable to have return kicks unless it is a playoff situation.

That is why I think Carr was so valuable. IMO Carr could develop into a viable backup CB and was making significant progress last season. Asit stands right now Carr would be our backup CB. However, if Carr wants to go somewhere else all the power to him but no matter where he goes he will have to prove his worth as a CB.

He wouldn't be my first option, but if we don't have any good options, I'd like to see him try it again.

With no other high level weapons we cant afford to get CJ hurt by returning punts.

NO WAY would I risk CJ on return duties! We can sign Carr or Deltha O'Neal to be a primary KR/PR and backup CB or Leonard as a backup S/NB and kr/pr. Hawkins also can do it. We also could take a returner in the draft.

If Chris Davis could hold on to the ball, he'd be a good option at punt returner.
