Jags were pulling Taylor in the redzone or inside the ten if you like, long before they acquired Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew is a great goal line runner btw, but Taylor's troubles in the redzone were the entire reason he was drafted to begin with.

Yes, it's common knowledge that many of "Fragile Fred's" injuries occured trying to punch the ball in. Not always what ended his season, but was usually what got him limping in the first place.

There's nothing indicating that his salary will be a factor. He has already offered to take a paycut to remain a Jaguar. If he decides not to return as a Jaguar, it will likely because he chose to seek a starting role elsewhere, and I doubt the Titans would hand him the reigns. There's nothing indicating that the Jags will release him because of his salary to begin with. It's just one Schefter's "hunches".

 

On the other hand, Derrick Ward might be plausible, and could be an upgrade over White.

And Antonio Bryant...

At first I thought this was a joke-type thread, the Shane Lechler thing, but you convinced me. Having a stellar punter is definitely a must for a ball-control, field position, defensive time like ours. I wouldn't put him too close to the top of the list, but he could definitely make the list

 

Absolutely. He was one of the better returners in the league. He should definitely be re-signed.
