Risky? We have posters wanting us to go to a 3-4 defense. We have posters who want vince to be our starting QB. Thats risky!

I'm talking about a 2nd rd pick for a guy who will likely be gone in 2010. There are some other options out there; correll buckhalter, even ricky williams. We just need one back or 2 backs who can eat up 125 carries and get us 3.7 yards a carry. Maybe even ganther can help do that.

No, he really isn't. It pains me to say it because I want to agree, but just about anyone can get third and 1 most of the time behind our O-Line. I'm pretty sure I could tackle Lendale White in the open field

I would have Lendale as a power back on my team any day of the week. Why not keep him and have him as the short yardage back that can chip away at the defense when you need him to compliment Johnson who is one of the biggest playmakers in the league.

It helps so Johnson can get off the field and get a little breather on the short yardage downs.

he is so not a good power back. power backs break tackles, lendale white falls forward. that's not a bad thing for a short yardage back, but if that's all he's going to be we need to find someone else to be the complimentary back.

A power back gets the yards and falls forward for the extra yards. Lendale defiantly isn't the fastest or most agile thing in the world, I think we all know that, but he is a pretty good short yardage power back that can get you a few yards when you need him to.

He is good at getting short yardage when you don't need him to. When you need him to get a first down on short yardage he can't do it.

if you need three yards, lendale white is going to get three yards. if you need five yards, lendale white is going to get three yards.

that's pretty much the best thing you can say about him....

Anyone who thinks the Titans can get high value for LenDale is way off. Running Backs don't have much trade value these days, especially one that is not very versitile. All this talk about LT being traded, he would draw a mid round pick. Can you say you would rather have LenDale over LT?? Even in this point in LT's career, I would stack him higher. LenDale does exactly what the Titans need him to do, that is get the tough yards and get in the end zone. I don't see a need to change anything in our back field.
