...at least not until after the 4th round. I think having any thoughts otherwise is just setting unrealistic expectations and setting yourself up for disappointment. I especially do not see the Titans moving UP to get Sanchez as some here have suggested (did Sanchez even have to throw to a receiver who was slightly covered this season?"). In fact, I personally believe the most realistic scenario is that the Titans trade back into the second round in order to get more picks, similar to the draft where the Texans traded up to get Babin. I for one was not happy with last year's draft when it happened, but one thing it taught me, the people in the FO probably do know more about these players than we do. So I think Johnson and Jones and others have earned my trust in the organization's decisions.

Agreed. I cannot see picking up a QB early in the draft. We need to pick up 1 or 2 good receivers for our first couple of picks. Percy Harvin or Heywerd-Bay if they are not taken by the time we get on the clock.

I was disappointed with last years draft as well, but boy did Johnson ever prove us wrong.

The longer we hold off drafting a QB and fool ourselves into thinking Young will be a franchise QB the longer we will have an average at best passing game.

    Jeebus, blind hate much?

Really, the last three threads I've looked at with a post from you has included Vince bashing. For real man, you don't know if Vince will or will not work out in the future. I don't understand your personal vendetta to feel you need to bash the guy in every thread.

Upgrade the receiving department, or it won't matter whose at qb, we'll never see an improvement in the passing game.

Vince is relevant to the current Titans QB situation, isn't he? I hate talking about him too, but he should be in the conversation, unfortunately.

Will never happen in Nashville. The only good WR they would take in the top rounds would be a TE.

I agree that we need to draft a QB this year. I'm not saying we need to draft a QB for the 2009 season, but we need a young guy sitting and learning the system. Collins can't stay forever, he's getting old. We can not count on VY doing anything next year or the year after. If you count out Collins & VY, we're left with Simms. Draft a young QB for the future as insurance if need be.
