Once the broadcasters and the announcers get pet teams it is hard to get any respect!

The Ravens fans know this as well as the Titan fans do.
The Ravens got hardly any respect in the 2000 SB run until the next to last game played.
    Respect by ellimination...............

All the big name teams aren't gonna be so special in the next few years.
The league has finally gotten parity and even last place teams can rise again the next year.
    Can you say salary cap?

I think you missed the point dude. I don't care whether he's pro-Titans or pro-Ravens... Dierdorf sucks. Solomon Wilcots and Ian Eagle call a much better game. I actually really like the NFL Network's new play by play dude Bob Poppa (sp?). The game he did with Marshall Faulk and Deion in the booth was great (which was surprising given how over the top Sanders can be in his delivery).

Honestly I can't stand the Buck/Aikman combo either.

    Sanders is a fence jumper.
He jumped the fence on the Dallas-Balto game when the ravens kicked their butts.
I prefer a local radio network for a game than most of the announcers used nowadays.
Even Madden has lost some of his shine.

A shame I can't sync up Mike Keith to the game when I DVR it.

Bob Poppa is a good announcer, i listen to him all the time on Sirius radio. Hes a die hard Giants fan but you would never know because he calls it like it is.
But IMO the best announcers were Pat Summerall and John Madden back in the day calling a game. Something about Summerall's voice just made him a great announcer.(and of course he knew what he was talking about)

Should we set up a poll to guess how many times this broadcasting crew calls a player by the wrong name? Dierdorf still thinks Finnegan's name is Finneran, and he especially gets confused when there are similar names tied to both teams... so there's at least a 70% chance Keith Bulluck will be called Keith Billick.

Caution - alcohol poisoning risk - do not turn this into a drinking game.
