Schwartz to interview with Lions, Browns

I thought coaches from playoff teams couldn't interview until after they were ousted?

 

as did I

 

They can interview, just not be hired

 

Just looked it up coaches may interview on a bye week, even if in post season

 

They are the only 0-16 team in history and they were horrid no matter how you look at it. 32nd in scoring defense and they were outscored by 249 points! 15.5 points a game!

 

I could be wrong but i have a feeling dave mcginnis will follow schwartz as his DC and williams will be our DC. I hope that happens.

Mcginnis' experience might be helpful to a new head coach and he is with the team now so they just take the system with them seamlessly. Williams has a more agressive style and would want to do things more his way.

 

I'd say that if Schwartz gets a head coaching job somewhere, 2 of these 3 guys will be a DC either here or under Schwartz:
Gregg Williams (who could also be a DC elsewhere)
Dave McGinnis
Chuck Cecil

 

i don't think gregg williams would want to work under a guy a he once was in charge of.

 

Probably true. Plus he and schwartz have not worked together since 2000 while schwartz and mcginnis are currently working together.

Fisher brought dinger back i can see him getting greg back.
