SUMMARY: Vince Young knows he'll get an opportunity to play Sunday against the Colts. "This is definitely big for me,'' Young said. "It is like a résumé for me, to go out there and show I can still play football at this level, to show my coaches and teammates as well. Any time you get a chance to get out there on the football field you are not only showing your teammates, you are showing a lot of people around the league your talent. … I am in the shadows right now and I am learning a lot.'' Kerry Collins will start but Young should see plenty of work along with possibly #3 QB Chris Simms.

Best of luck to Vince. He's handled this situation with class. I hope he has a great game.

I don't think he has handled it with class. He was asked about it a couple months ago and he remarked that it is making him a stronger "black man". Why can't it just be making him a stronger man, period? Sounds like it was a bit of a racist comment to me. Sounded a bit bitter. Like they took the black man and made him stand behind the white man. Too bad he said that.

    Not classy in my opinion.

What does that remark have to do with handling it with class? He was asked a question and he answered it. You can take that answer in many ways. Vince could have whined and complained that he wanted to play and that it was his job to be our QB, but he didnt. He stayed back and minded his own business. This Vince bashing really gets old.

So, if KFC was asked the same question about the current situation ( at that time) and he said it was making him a "stronger white man", would you think that was a classy comment? Or, would you hear the drumbeats in the media and elsewhere calling for his head on a platter?

Again, neither man making either answer was/would've been classy. That's all I'm saying. That comment, when made, just hurt my opinion of him a bit.

Anything VY says will be pretty much magnified under a microscope from here on out. I have not seen anything that shows he hasnt handled this situation without any class.

So the guy has an identity, that has nothing to do with handling his PT vs the Colts with class.

So he has an identity. Good for him. I guess the best way to explain what I meant is to use Hollywood actors. You like the way the act, look, what ever. You love their movies. Then they get in front of a microphone and talk politics. Now you just can't bring yourself to watch their stuff anymore.

They should just keep certain opinions and thoughts, identities, to themselves.

As far as VY playing the dolts with class, I'm sure he'll do just fine.

You don't judge entertainers by their beliefs or character. You judge them by the way they do their job- or else you're only robbing yourself.

Sorry, If I can't stand someone for what they say, why in the world would I want to waste my life watching them?
