Loss No. 2 drops Titans to No. 2 in power rankings

It's the difference between playing for a national championship or just another bowl though, right?

 

Power Rankings??? That just goes to show you how much the NFL are Steelers homers...have the Steelers taken "advantage" of games in the 4th quarter? Yes, Im not gonna say if they have been handed anything or not...but they have won when it mattered.

But the Steelers offense is just as bad/maybe worse than ours...I actually go with worse. For anyone who doesnt want to believe how bad a QB Big Ben is go compare his stats w/ Collins. Now factor in field position that the Steelers D gives Ben, maybe minus a shoulder injury for Ben and his oline losing Faneca, then add in Holmes and Ward...who we all can say are leagues above what we have. Plus the fact Ben never knows when to get rid of the ball...as shown by him being sacked 25 times compared to 7 for Collins. I'd shudder to think what Ben would do w/ what we have.

As for the rankings, explain this one to me....we're #2...but 12-2 is greater than 11-3, and then go by Pitts. last loss which was to the Colts...a team we beat already/embarrassed...but I guess my math is just wrong???

 

Power rankings are supposed to be a current snapshot of teams' momentum at this point. I'd say the Steelers are riding higher than this point, and can't argue that they don't deserve it. If we beat them this week, they can't argue. If they beat us, we can't argue.

The Titans are overrated. They have a "cupcake" schedule that will expose them as pretenders on Sunday.

True. But we havent lost to any cupcakes- unlike you guys.

 

This isn't college football, power rankings are 100% meaningless in the NFL...we actually do have a playoff system that rewards on the field accomplishments. So, no such thing as politics when it comes to deciding a Super Bowl winner.
