Jeff Fisher defeats the Tennessee Titans

I wonder if the call was for something else and KFC checked down to JMac...who was actually quite open. KFC threw a piss poor pass...much like he did on about 85% of his passes today. Stupid call or stupid check down pass....I guess we'll see. Our defense stopped everyone except for AJ...who hauled in a record 207 yards receiving. That is pathetic in and of itself. WE were not ready to play today. We got outcoached and outplayed....

...we move on and come back ready for the Steelers....

We just f--ked ourselves out of homefield advantage. We NEEDED that homefield advantage because, frankly, we're not as good as advertised.

Yes, we're 12-2. But we still have Pitt & Indy on the schedule. We could EASILY go 12-4. VERY easily. We NEEDED homefield advantage, but we pissed it away like a millionaire coke addict.

Our defense was holding pretty darn well in the 2nd half. If we took the lead, I'd fully expect the defense to close the game out. Like they usually do.
But hey, who cares what we usually do? Lets throw it for the endzone next time on every 4th down. Especially if it's "not a playoff game".

 

questionable call absolutely...I would have kicked the FG. But I think if I were the head coach, the Titans would not be 12-2 with a team that most on here said had worse talent than last year (shows how much we know). So, no...I don't think this stops the Fisher for Coach of the Year talk.

 

Bad coaching not to kick the FG, but even worse coaching to not have your team ready to play a division rival with HFA still to be played for. The team came out flat, stayed flat all day, and that's all on the coaching...

 

The team with the most points wins.

4th and 3- a very low percentage of making it. When you are down 1 point, you go with the field goal.

In the big picture, this loss really doesn't matter. We aren't going to get past the divisional round playing like we did against this team (or how we did against the Jets). We just are not built to go deep.

I honestly don't think we could keep up with the Steelers or the Ravens. Our O-line wilted as the game wore on. We really didn't look very tough today.

Not totally, defense had one more chance to stop them... But, yeh I agree we had the points right there and didn't take them.
