  1. yeah, he needs to tone it down, especially with a live ball

I'm sitting here watching the Cleveland game and noticed CJ pull another stunt , and it looked like he heard about it from both Jeff, Mike and Byner directly afterwards

    8:22 4th qtr
    25yd TD (left side)
at about the 9 yard line, just as a Cleveland defender got within arms reach, Chris switched the ball from his left cradle to his right hand and stuck it out ... taunting the guy

while i'm sure his boys gotta kick out of it, I found it wreckless

Thanksgiving day, I thought he had gotten over theater when he ran for a TD, crossed the goalline, and set the ball on the ground and walked away (well kinda, he kinda moon-walked away)

I really hope something like that doesn't have an adverse effect in January

look, I'm all for a good celebration AFTER YOU CROSS THE LINE (see DeSean Jackson) had Chris dropped the ball, or if the guy had actually made an attempt at it ... and he lost it .... he could probably write off any chance at ROY

i didn't have a problem with bongo drums or anything else, but when the ball is still live and the guy is three feet away from you, just get into the endzone.

He probably could of put the ball down and picked it up and the Browns defender still wouldnt of caught him

yeah, that was a little off-putting....but it was on a 25 yard TD, so its ok...as long as it doesn't backfire in some way, im cool with it

you need to watch that play again
they were within arms reach of each other

that's not the only risk he took
he also risked coughing up the ball, which has been know to happen simply from switching hands

It was a silly thing to do, but in watching it live (and the replays afterwards) I didn't think CJ realized the Brown's defender was so close. I think he was styling rather than taunting... still probably not a great idea. I liked the fact that both Fish and Byner noticed it right away and gave him a little grief for it.

Ernest Byner was an awesome back. Not relevant, but worth mentioning.

    lol

the only reason CJ has a 4.9-ypc is because he has a lot of long runs. Take those out and he is a 2ypc back.

    Put in Chris Henry

    :sarcasm:

sarcasm smiley added too ensure people understand that noone in this thread is serious about replacing CJ with Chris Henry
