titan fans

    Hi All, I read the jet fan thread & wanted to give my 2 cents worth about my opinion of titan fans...........all class.........fans of teams like the jets,eagles,raiders,pats & many others could learn a lot from you guys.

    1- you guys have been great this past week allowing me on your board to talk football.

    2- a few friends I know went to the game & spoke of how great they were treated by titan fans.

    don't let idiots of other teams change the way you you guys root for your team.

    about the game- you guys just had a bad day plain & simple. you'll put it behind you & learn from it. Thanks again for lettin me post here & all the best the rest of the way.

    thanks man. One other important observation that struck me was watching the game from home. I take the games very serious & watch it loud at home by myself or with my son.

    The stadium rocked with fan noise at all the right times. no booing or gettin down that I noted.

    I think our players are all pretty good & don't trashtalk or play dirty like the Porter's & Matt Lights of the league. I've been to jetgames in miami & agree that there are some pi$$ poor jetfans but we ain't all bad:lol:

    On my drive home yesterday, I turned on the 103.3 to listen to some post-game commentary. The first thing I hear... "The Titans fans were completely taken out of the game by the JETS today, the stadium noise was a real disappointment".

    Well UP YOURS radio guys. I turned that off immediately and don't plan to listen 103.3 anymore on game days. I mean, really, dog the home team fans after a home loss.. what were they thinking??


    And like you joewilly, I thought we got plenty loud at the right times yesterday. It's not like crowd noise should even have any affect on Favre anymore.


    Hey and for what it's worth I met some cool Jets fans yesterday.


    One thing for sure, the Titans and Jets are among the best teams in the NFL for the 2008 season.

    I appreciate the good comments, as a Titan's fan. I saw several Jet's fans sitting near me but none that were out of line in any way.

    Thanks for being classy to everyone. The Jets really handed it to us yesterday. I am just as mad as everyone else but that gives us no right to be sore losers. I am sure we have our fair share of bogus fans too. A little poking and prodding is fun but when I hear how people are sometimes treated (on and from both sides) it disgust me. Remember fans are people and are/have dads, moms, kids, etc. Ignore the ignorance. Just keep it classy.:thumb:

    BTW: My goodness, Brett Favre has a huge fan base. At one point, I had to remind myself that we weren't playing the Packers. Seeing #4 jerseys in masses was almost nauseating ;)

    Thanks. I hope other Jets fans read this. Other fans have been coming in here demanding we give them all kinds of credit for a win and just dismiss us saying we had a bad game. We had a bad game, you had a great one, I think that's obvious.

    exactly, we fired on all cylinders & you guys were flat.

    I think we're for real this year & winning yesterday proved it but to say we are superior to any team is ludicrous. this year more than any it's any given sunday.

    just read a glowing report from a fellow jetfan what awesome titan fans he met before during & after the games. Kudos to a great organization, great head coach & great fanbase. If we lose to you guys in the playoffs, it'll be a lot less painful for me than losing to many other teams.
