You know this might be your first post that I whole heartedly agree with.....I almost feel the same way when I see him run. Its like if he would have saw the other hole that opened up he would of been doing cartwheels in the endzone before any one even noticed he was gone.

But man, lets remember, he is a ROOKIE, and I hope you can certainly say he has far exceeded expectations. I know he has for me, he has gone way over just being the "fastest time" in the combine. WE ALL CAN ADMIT THAT. Top 4 running back in most categories is not something to take light of in his rookie year, specially when he started out 50/50 with lendale.

I agree with your excitement and frustration Gloat, but CJ is running great, the team is 8 and 0 and is getting close to putting a stranglehold on the bye week for playoffs/home field......seriously did anyone expect any of this???

to Gloat and to peace on the board :highfive:

    Are you guys serious?
Do you think we would stand a chance without CJ?
You do realize that he was responsible for almost half our total offensive yardage on Sunday, right?
If you take away his yardage plus Lendale's one 50 yard run, that leaves us with 130 total yards on offense.
Do you really think Chris Henry could be capable of this?

I think Lendale should have gotten the ball when the titans were on 3 yard line. His specialty is short yards. We gave the ball to CJ twice a bad throw and a field goal. Field Goals in the red zone eventually will equal defeat.

He wont reach 1400 yards RollTide, but I guess you've converted from all your "nonsensical" predictions on just how terrible Chris Johnson was going to be??
If there's one thread you shouldn't speak in - it's this one.
60 rush yards per game wont = 1400 though.

Seriously, Lendale has trouble controlling his weight like a girl with warped hormones. For instance, Mike Griffin could eat McDonald's chicken biscuits with hashbrowns for breakfast every morning and not gain a pound. Lendale eat the same thing and blow up 20 more pounds.

I honestly used to not like him. But I got to know him and now I adore him. Team Lendale.

You are absolutely right, Gloat. But 89 rush yards per game will.

    Chris Johnson
G GS Att Yds Avg Lng TD
    8 7 146 715 4.9 66T 5

    715 divided by 8 = 89.4 yds. per game.

    89.4 X 16 = 1430
    or
    715 X 2 = 1430

The math is on Roll's side. ;)

You took the words and stats right out of my mouth....but realistically 1400 is high, specially if he could be sitting the last 2 games of the year.

EDIT: 1200 to 1300 yards is an incredible feat for a rookie running back.
