Pacman Suspended indefinately

Pacman could have been a great player, but bluntly said, he couldn't leave the "mean streets" behind him, and act like a well-adjusted human being in public when he gets a mild buzz from a legal intoxicant.

Given a choice of "pride fn with you" or settling down and raking in millions doing what you love, what choice would you make?

Adam Jones could have laughed all the way to the bank, but he just couldn't get over an environment he should have left behind.

Getting drunk at a rap music listening party would be a hilarious end to his career.

Don't blame the front office for the problem, blame Adam Jones for being an out of control idiot.

 

had we not traded Jones, what would we have now ?

yes the trade parameters of Dallas getting a "rebate" was bad business
but it shows that even Jerry Jones knew this kid couldn't learn

a 4th this year for a 5th next year isn't all that bad for a guy who may never play in the NFL again

I'm not blaming the FO for PacMan. I would have rather kept him rather than giving him and a 5th for a 4th.

 

You would rather have him here suspended and causing a huge distraction for an undefeated team?

 

Ideally, he would have made it through this year so we got to keep the 5th and get a 6th, and then get suspended next year. Given this suspension though, I hope he gets suspended for life.

 

v, your thinking about it wrong. If he did that there, where his own bodyguards HIRED to keep him out of trouble, imagine what he would have done here in TN. Heck look at what he did. He COULD have been a great one. So could Lawrence Phillips. But the whole package includes mental stability, ect. He failed and will continue to fail unless he get some help, spiritually/mentally.

 

So, we keep a draft pick, but lose the guaranteed money he gave up to be traded, and still have him suspended?

If he couldn't "keep out of the headlines" for a team he wanted to be on, there is no chance he would have stayed in the league here.
