Kerry Collins hasn't played a good game yet. He pulled one drive out of his rear last week but other than that he's not been that good. I think he should still be starting but I don't get all the praise he's been getting lately.

No, it's not. We could go two for two on TD's in the redzone, and go 100%, and scoring the least TD's in the league. Look at Detroit for example. They are one of three teams that has scored each time they've been in the red zone (we are also one of them). They've been in the red zone a whopping four times. The Titans on the other hand have been in the redzone 16 times and scored 11 TD's and 5 FG's. Very impressive from having the worst red zone offense last season.

last year when we got in the red zone we would run 2 plays up the middle, then on 3rd and 8 we would run a play where only one receiver went over 8 yards.

OK but WHEN IT MATTERED we scored. There isn't an extreme pressure to score in the first quarter. Interceptions will happen, if they happen in the first quarter and the game is still close in the 4th then do they really matter? Yea a little but not nearly as bad as say Young's 4th quarter interception against the Jags.

OK but he's played in a Superbowl. Who else on our team has played in a Superbowl? Nick Harper and Jake Scott? If you can have a QB who knows what playoff pressure and Superbowl pressure is like I'll take it.

Again, he knows about the pressure of the playoffs. He's not my ideal Superbowl QB to have but I'll take him.

We also have VY, White, Hall, Griffin, and I'm sure others who have played in a National Championship game. I know it's different but we have other players who have played in big games besides the SB.

The guys played 6 career playoff games it's not like his well experienced. And it's not like he's put up great numbers in the big games. In every conference championship or super bowl he's played in he's at least thrown 2 picks, not to mention his one super bowl game he put up a 7.1 rating. This was also when he was in his prime, not a 35 year old qb who will probably be worn down by playoff time.

That's what happens when your QB's dismal play handcuffs your options. Every defense knew it was going to be run run run or run run pass. They damn sure knew we weren't going to pass, and if we did, they weren't worried about it anyway.

I'm still voting with VY simply because he is being punished right now for his behavior, and I think he's smart enough to learn alot from it. I dont believe it will happen again, although I dont think his "mental issues" are as dramatic as the media has spun it to be. Why would the media write a story that is not going to get as much attention as it will if they blow everything up?? So VY is a HUGE competitor leading him to have a bit of an attitude...he'll learn his lesson and will bottle up his emotion a bit more. As for KFC, he has done absolutely nothing that VY can't do and for the record VY could have done more...run the football.

That's not even close to the same. The confidence and experience come from success at this level. I love those guys, but they aren't the vets yet. Yet another reason why it would be great to keep Kerry starting this season, and let Vince have his shot next year, after seeing how a successful team goes into a playoff run.
