SUMMARY: Albert Haynesworth would like the Titans to make a trade for a WR before next Tuesday's trade deadline. Names like Roy Williams, Chad Ocho Cinco and Anquan Boldin are those batted around in rumor circles as players who could be available. "It would be a good move because I think it would help other guys on this team,’" Haynesworth said. "Chad is good, but I don’t know how he’d fit with the chemistry of the team. Roy Williams, Anquan (Boldin), those guys are good, too. You can always dream, but I don’t think it will happen. I’d be very, very shocked if we did anything." According to Coach Jeff Fisher, it's about the seller not wanting to part with good players. He also said it would take a month for any player to learn the system.

Argh... big man cannot shut his mouth. I agree with him, but nothing is going to happen. I do wish we could get Boldin for a 2nd.

Let the Truth be told. I say we go for broke and hand out a pick. We know our number 1 will be a WR next year anyway. This is one position where experience really counts. A rookie won't cut it. So a Trading for a slick vet is the right decision in my opinion. I eould like to see it done.

Take his advice. Improve the team in an area we can almost all agree is disheartening.

I hate when it starts to seem like a team isn't doing anything in a particular area just b/c everyone is yelling for it. Like the Bears with the QB situation, they play the hand that they can make it for way too long, while everyone is screaming for a change. And then it seems like they don't want to lose face by making a move. When all they had to do was draft some guys, sign some FAs, or trade for a player (they could have splashed a 1st for Donovan McNabb and how much better would they have been this year), and surely in 5 years they could have gotten hold of someone better than the same 2 qbs that everyone else in the world knows will never cut it (and ditto for our WRs).

I love draft picks. I truly believe that you are going down the crapper if you don't have a 1st and/or 2nd rounder every year. But FOs have become absolute wusses with the picks. And it's all about not wanting to take a chance and be wrong. Man up.

Roy would sign here for an eight piece from Popeye's and a bottle of Michael Jordan cologne.
