Lendale is taking away from Johnson in the 2nd half, and it's showing. We are not scoring. One or two series is plenty for Lendale. Nothing more. He's making the game harder for us. I like him as a running back, but CJ is so much better, not letting CJ get touches is making it harder to win late.

How many 3rd downs has LenDale failed to convert?

That is the only way he could possibly be hurting us.

Oh boy, not this LW thing again.........

LW hurting us??? I'm sorry but has he been fumbling the football?? (knock on wood!!), has he been missing asignments and allowing the QB to get sacked???, has he been scoring TD's when called upon to do so inside the 5yd line???

OP, you keep saying that LW is hurting the team, but CJ should not get all the carries. Please tell me who in the world you think is a better back on this team that CJ should split carries with?? Henry?? Gaither?? Since your using stats as proof, please give me some proof as to why you believe that either of those 2 would be better than LW in the same situations.

LW has shown the ability to skirt through a hole very quickly when a hole is there, I would swear that it's CJ when he does that.

His low YPC is a combo of things, the Defense knowing what's coming and stacking the line, the o-line not opening holes, LW not getting anything else but Between the tackle runs.

I think we all know that LW is not our "Feature back" anymore, and if he's cool with that, and he keeps holding on to the rock, and scoring TD's, then It's all good. The only criticism I have of him is that he does sometimes tippy toe, looking to make a cut coming to the LOS in short yardage situations looking for a hole instead of just lowering his head and plowing forward.

How exactly does LenDale take away from CJ? SHould we give him the ball every time? Then he won't be available for the special plays, the pass plays, the recovery time on the bench.......

What does not scoring have to do with it? Have you not seen the weak passing attempts by The Colonel? Have you not seen the conservative, possession game called by the offensive geniuses? It's a team effort to get TDs not one players' effort.

How does he exactly make it harder? Is using CJ every down the answer? No. No RB is or can ever be.

Y'all are thinking like he and the OL are the only people that matter in this. Why even have any questions about WR's, there's CJ. Why worry about Algie contributing, there's CJ. Why even wonder any about the QB - let's just put a ball-hander-offer in there, that's all we need. This is ridiculous! REAL football is not played on the back of one person/position!!

It's a team effort, using multiple weapons! You've got to have long distance bombing, knives for inside fighting, swords for at-arms length work, rifles for high yardage, pistols for shooting from the hip, hand grenades for a quick toss. That's how wars are won and the same is true for games.

I remember last year without CJ many were on Lendale's case. How did he do? 1,100 yards.
Seems like something to whine about when 4-0. Have fun.

I don't think "hurting" is the right word. I'd say "holding back" is closer to the truth.

He has no turn-overs and is actually getting positive yardage, so he's not hurting the team. Just making the offense stagnant.

    But hey, he scores........

Ok, about all this stuff that LenDale is "stealing CJs touchdowns" or "getting all the glory", my question is does CJ have a problem with it? It seems to me that any time White scores, CJ is the first to celebrate with him. I mean, they are CJs touchdowns according to yall. But if he doesn't care who gets the score, why do yall?

I don't care who scores. If LenDale has 3 TDs a game, fine. But those 3-5 carries he needs to get those TDs is ALL he should be getting.

1st & 10 at our own 20. LenDale should be sitting on the sidelines. Period.

You are right. LenDale White never has been able to run the ball. I mean, why didn't Jeff Fisher realize this last year? He shouldn't have played at all last year. I mean, his 1100 yards was absolute garbage, and he's just gotten worse! It's official guys, we need to draft another running back in the first round. Count him up as a bust!

    We've only played four games.

All that sarcasm wasted. 2007 does not matter. What makes you think it helps your argument? He got too many carries last year (no choice), and he's getting too many carries this year.

Do they show the games in Memphis? Can you not see his consistent 1-2 yard runs? Can you not see how flat the offense becomes when he's in the game? Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
