I agree 100%. And if the J-Mac call had been called correctly it would have been worse than an average VY line. Credit where credit is due for hurrying to the line, but if you take that play out it was a very poor day passing the football. And it was against a weak Texans Defense missing one of their starting corners.

Bottom line is I don't hear anyone crying about the QB performance or the WR performance. Our offense looks much, much better to anyone who is actually watching, not just reading stats. Yes, KFC had an INT on the first play of the game, after that he was very solid, made good reads, good throws and led the offense throughout the game. Cry all you want, but VY isn't coming back this week:)

It's amazing to see what our receivers are capable of when the ball is actually where it's supposed to be. Even guys like Chris Davis can be worth something with someone other than Vince throwing.

That's because those who cry about qb performance are the vy haters who will quiet down while collins is playing. Our wrs or collins didn't have a great game but we really don't care when we win. I don't care if collins or vy have a 50 passer rating this year and our wrs have 10 drops a game as long as we go to the playoffs and have a chance to compete for the super bowl. We all know the team wins because of our defense.

If you can look away from the stat line for a bit and just watch the games you'll see Collins is better. He throws down field and if you'll notice White got some nice runs up the middle because teams weren't stacking the box against him like they did with Young. And best of all we got touchdowns and not field goals.

Thanks for making the point. Nobody has to have a great game, but it helps when the WRs are involved and the QB doesn't have a miserable game. At least he wasn't booed by the home crowd? They must know something:)

utdtitans, don't lump me into some hater category. I was Vince Young crazy for over 2 years. I just got fed up. Collins plays a more fluid game and gets things done at the right time. Soon he will be lighting it up. I am confident in that. He's a Renaissance Man!

so you support him for two years, then after one game it's over. Guys complain because he threw two picks against the jaguars, then peyton manning goes and puts up similar numbers against that same defense, but our guy has to be out the door after that one game.

That was on the heels of a season where he threw for 9 TDs to 19 INTs. Big difference between him and Peyton. He can complete passes to his guys. While we're talking about it, isn't it funny how average New England's WRs look without Brady running the show? I thought you could just plug any QB in and he would be God? I think doing what we did without our #1 WR yesterday was better than VY has done with his #1, that was shocking. And the Texans D is not that lousy, excellent pass rush, good LBs.
