Vince Young appreciation thread

Ridiculing does nothing, it only adds to the problem. It doesn't fix it and this is now Vince Young as a person, not a football player.

 

Chem hate to say it but your thread has been hijacked good luck.

 

I have purposely attempted to stay away from the arguments that crop up about Vince for some time now. I come in an lurk from time to time to see what's the latest fan thoughts.

I appreciate this thread. And I appreciate Vince.

It's become obvious that Vince doesn't handle adversity on the field well, he hasn't had much practice doing so.

Mediocrity is extremely hard to swallow, when you are not used to it. It's easy to stand on the outside looking in and say, just suck it up, get past it. Move on. It doesn't matter how much you get paid, or your lifestyle, emotions are emotions, human nature is human nature.

If half of the folks who are criticizing the situation, would step out of their glass house for two seconds, they would realize there are many areas in their life, where they don't have it together. Maybe in the family, when the kids act up or the spouse disagree's with them, or on the job, when the manager/supervisor treats them unjustly.

Remember he is 25. Not that this is an excuse but he will live and learn, like most of us did.

So I'm pulling for Vince first, for is personal life, and second for his professional life. I pray it all works out.

 

your remark was not the only one I was addressing pal. Six years ago? What, are you in grade school? now, now... notice post #1... your big "shout out" to Chem and the VY delegation just lumped you into that group. It ain't you, it's your writing... Plus, you just went on about being a "VY Fan" as opposed to a Titans fan so when you cross it with what you agree with it paints the picture of a guy that would follow VY to the Texans should a trade ensue. Just because I use all or a portion of your post doesn't make the message specific to you. A good bit of the "hypocrisy" bit was intended for those who came to follow this team after Young was drafted. (i.e. the thread starter, Chem) The forum was a bit split on that demographic... F.Y.I. :grrhee:... A lot of posters on this site had no use for opinions from such "silly persons".. I defended them and welcomed them as fans. Check my posting from that time. I was a Vince Young fanatic. The thing is junior, Vince hasn't done anything worthy of praise so I shall reserve mine until he does.

 

So basically your out to "lump people" into groups....as for your "high school" punch, yes, I'm young, does that make me less of a fan? Which by the way, according to you as I understand you can't be both a Titans and a VY fan?? LIKE I said I've been a Titan's fan before the VY era, and I'm never gonna be a fan for any other team, so you can just take your "picture of a guy following VY to the Texan's" and replace it with a GIRL following the Titans for the rest of her life.

Nobody WANTS VY to fail, but he seems determined to give himself every oppertunity too.
