I said that he has worse hands than our guys. You said differently. I compared them, because our guys are the only guys that would have made sense. Should I have compared him to guys not on our team? What would that have proven? You're just backtracking, bro. Just admit that you have never seen Darrell Jackson play.

Over one thousand yard two years in a row is just average? What? Huh? No, anything over 1000 yards is a very good year. To put it in prespective, that's nearly twice what our leading receiver had this year.

And if Roydell Williams only had two drops this year, then I'm a Texans fan. :irked: There's no way. I'm sorry.

Darrell Jackson was to be the saviour of the 49ers receiving corp 12 months ago.

That didn't work out for them.

What makes us think that a 12-month older Jackson would work out for us?

I honestly don't think D-Jack would be any form of a savior
but he could certainly upgrade the group
if Brandon Jones is better than Darrell Jackson, I'm in Oz

Darrell Jackson isn't worth the effort to sign him. He was never that great to begin with (as most Florida WRs aren't worth crap in the NFL anyway).

Puck your not in Kansas anymore. Brandon at least has potential. Mason did not come alive until he had been with us a while. I say give Jones another year and then if he's no better, time to move on.

    you realize
BJ (in his 3 years) has only 20 more catches and 200 more yards
than DJ did as a rookie

    as I've said before
despite a lackluster year in SF last year
he still would have been our 3rd best receiver
with only 9 less rec. than Gage and 1/3 our TD production

    LET ME BE CLEAR

I am not , and have not been lobbying for DJ to be signed to become the next Jerry Rice or to be anything other than say the #2 at best

BUT, if he can be brought in for the vet min. and evaluated through camp and pre-season ... what's the big f'ing deal ... it would have made more sense to sign DJ Hackett ? :shake:

Look who he had throwing him the ball and look at the offense that he played in. Thats all Im going to say. Receivers stats get inflated in Seattle's offense.
