Kalimba Edwards is in town today

Kalimba/Kearse >>>> Laboy/Odom

 

Chris Crocker visiting has me thinking they have legitimate concerns with Hope's neck. I hope he comes back 100%.

 

Edwards could potentially be an upgrade over LaBoy. A rotation of Kearse/Edwards would be a real nice pass-rushing DE tandem.

 

If you look at his best game states they almost all came againt the Faiders last season. Actually almost all of his season numbers came in that game. 2 of 3 sacks, both FF and the FR.

 

This would be another solid pickup. I agree that Kalimba/Kearse would be just as potent as Laboy/Odom.

 

I wonder if this guy is similar to Odom. Similar size, both 2nd rounders, similar stats through their first 4 years....Edwards stats are actually better. Those #'s are all I have to compare the two though, I've never seen much of Edwards.

 

I'm praying that i'm going to get on this website tomorrow morning or tomorrow evening and instead of seeing "Titans and Justin Mcareins agree to one year deal", i'll see "Titans and Kalimba Edwards sign a three year deal"

this is what we need, this is our Odom/Laboy replacement, maybe its even a blessing.

 

If he signs, that would make it more likely the best player available is who we will draft in the first round. It could be anyone. I am holding out hope a defensive tackle falls to us but I am not holding my breath.
