I say go after Javon Walker once the bronco's release him because the other guys are mediocre.

If I had to pick between Berrian or Stallworth...I'd take Bryant Johnson

IMO Berrian is by far the best of the FA bunch just based on pure ability. Berrian is a guy just coming into potential pro-bowl status. Stallworth is a #2 and with all the hype about his 40 times and all has basically been a dissapointment his whole career and hasn't had a break out season. Stallworth had the chance of a life time in NE to have a break out season and couldn't even out play Gaffney. Berrian on the other hand was about all the Bears had last year and has developed from strickly a deep route guy to an all around solid WR who commands attention.

Bryant Johnson hasn't been anything stellar and he might be a decent value because his demands can't be real high but he hasn't proven he can come in and be any bette than Gage or R. Williams IMO. If we lose Gage and sign Johnson I'm not sure we have made any significant change for the better if he even is better.

Bottom line is I'm not sold on Stallworth (he hasn't played a full season yet without being injured), Berrian is the only guy who has the potential to be something special and Bryant is not much more than what we had (he is decent but not a #1). Oh, by the way Berrian is only 185 pounds. Expecting him to be a viciouos blocker is about the same as expecting Marvin Harrison to be a blocker.

    Who's being aggressive?

I dont want us to waste a lot of money on two average players...there is no point. You can find a million Berrians and Stallworths in the draft. No need to spend money on a guy who 1. Doesnt deserve it and 2. Isnt going to help our team that much

no ur rite.....the 7 WRs we've drafted in the past 2 yrs hve done wonders for us....while neither is considered elite...we need immediate aid in order to help vince along ....

Exactly. I really don;t care who it is, but Vince needs better than garbage recievers if you expect him to develop. I certainly don't think the Titans should throw stupid money at Stalworth or Berrian, but they deserve serious consideration at the right price. All that cap money meen crap all if you don;t spend it.

How is Berrian going to help Vince? He has worse hands than a bunch of our guys and can only get open on the fade route. Seriously, dude, if you havent seen Berrian play a lot, then you cant say he is "immediate aid". He's a rich mans Troy Williamson....not saying much

Did someone say that hackett was the best Fa WR? Based on what? He hasn't even cracked 400 yards yet. Berrian is guy and he is not just mediocre. Over 1800 yards and 11 TDs the last 2 years playing with grossman as his QB says to me this guy can play. He has a healthy 14.6 career ypc.

Best scenario is to make a big deal with detroit for williams, rogers and tatum bell. Then we can focus our remaining draft picks and free agent money on something else..
